Testing EcoLafaek on Android

Download and install the EcoLafaek mobile app on your Android device.

Installation Steps

1. Enable Installation from Unknown Sources

Before installing the APK:

  1. Go to SettingsSecurity (or Privacy)
  2. Enable Install unknown apps or Unknown sources
  3. Allow installation from your browser or file manager

2. Download and Install

  1. Download the APK from the link above
  2. Open the downloaded file
  3. Tap Install
  4. Wait for installation to complete
  5. Tap Open to launch the app

Test Credentials

You can register a new account directly in the app:

  1. Open the EcoLafaek app
  2. Tap Sign Up or Register
  3. Fill in your details:
    • Full Name
    • Email address
    • Phone number
    • Password
  4. Complete registration
  5. Start reporting waste!

Or use an existing test account if provided by the development team.

System Requirements

  • Android Version: 5.0 (Lollipop / API 21) or higher
  • Tested on: Android 15
  • Storage: At least 50MB free space
  • Permissions: Camera, Location, Storage

Troubleshooting

Installation Blocked

If installation is blocked:

  • Make sure "Install unknown apps" is enabled for your browser/file manager
  • Check if you have enough storage space

App Won't Open

  • Restart your device
  • Reinstall the app
  • Check if your Android version is supported

Camera/Location Not Working

  • Go to SettingsAppsEcoLafaekPermissions
  • Enable Camera and Location permissions
